Western art... the dust from rounding up cattle and the brandings, the look of the cowboys hats and the talk of good horses, the pride that is taken in ones work at the end of the day... all of these things lends itself Western Art, and the heritage that we hold onto. I hope you will find pride in owning your own piece of western art from our gallery.
We offer many different forms of medium in which to enjoy our work, so let me tell you a little about each one, just in case you've never seen that medium first hand.
The Archival Prints (ie: photographic paper) are printed on just that, archival photographic paper. These have an archival value of approx. one hundred years when properly cared for. They must be matted and framed properly in order for them to last, and keeping them away from direct sunlight, high humidity and dust is a must. We also strongly encourage that the paper photos are ordered mounted on a board to help keep them from warping once they are framed. This small step will save you a world of headache down the road.
Metal Prints are one of my top favorites, with the image printed directly onto the metal and covered with a lasting spray, they hold their color values longer than any other medium. Now they still do take some specail care as does all artwork, such as not using a chemical to clean the surface but simply wiping the surface with a soft cotton cloth and only a small drop of water if needed that is then wiped dry will help maintain the durability and archival value for at least one hundred years as well.
Canvas prints, we are in the process of upgrading our canvas offerings which will now include rolled canvas or canvas mounted on a board. The rolled canvas will have to be mounted on stretcher bars and possibly framed (your choice) and the canvas mounted on a board will only need framing to be able to be hung in your home or office. We currently do not offer frames but will send out a message as soon as that is available. Until that time, if you would like to have your canvas framed, we can recommedn you to our own personal pro framer who is also an artist to get the job done for you. Just let us know when you order if this is something you are interested in and we'll help make the connection.
Acrylic prints are a new medium that we are working with and as we do more of them we will update this section, as well as our emails, so that YOU know what to look for and how wonderful they are. So be sure to sign up for our Newsletters, we will only send you vital information and you can opt out at any time.
