“True art lives beyond the imagination… it grabs us by our soul and tells us
to climb aboard and take a ride into places unknown…” ~b
I truly believe every single word I wrote above… the reason is simple: when you allow your imagination to create, to grow, to listen to that still small voice from way deep down, it will open up a world that only you can venture into.
Once you have gone on this journey, then, you will have tails to tell the rest of the world; whether in dance, in painting, in a novel or a poem… your journey must be shared with the rest of the world. It is your responsibility, as an artist, to enlighten the hearts and minds of men and women who have not seen the treasures you had the privileged to see.
“Instead of trying to make your life perfect, give yourself the freedom to make it an adventure.”
Life is to be lived, now. And yet, how many of us sit back and wait for the perfect time to do the things we love, to take a little risk, to create an adventure…?
“In all you plan and all your journey, make sure you take the time to say ‘I love you’ to the ones that matter in your life… not only do they need to hear it, but you need to hear yourself saying it as well… it opens up your heart and your mind to be vulnerable, to be real, to take some risk… Saying I love you, and meaning those words, will build you up and make you stronger while at the same time they will help the person you are speaking to…” ~b
“…there are days when you just have to take a step back from the world and close your eyes and breathe… its okay. just close your eyes, take a deep breath and listen to your heart beat… there. thats what matters, way deep down inside.
…everything else is simply details.”
“Let there be a vision that pulls you through to glory, not just for a day,
but for every single day…” ~b
“We can never see our future with total clarity… we can only see the next step that we are suppose to take, only one, and that is all we need… Live it.” ~b
“… I am thankful for big things as well as the little things, for truly knowing my future and where I belong… for the sound of the birds in the early morning light, the whisper of the wind across the plains as I dream. I am thankful for my still small voice that pushes me to try things in a new and challenging way, that little voice that says “what if?”. I’m also thankful that I can never say “no” to my still small voice, for by listening I am forced to grow… and I am thankful for you.” ~b
… I’ve never thought of myself as a “pink” person, but I am loving the images that I’ve been editing from last spring… maybe because it can be cold and blustery outside right now, maybe because the color adds energy to my day… I hope you enjoy them too.
I’m working at developing a better schedule for doing blog posting, fingers crossed and God willing, it will work, you know how crazy life can be. wink. Hope you enjoyed today’s posting and will share your thoughts as well. Thanks so much!

Life. It truly is awesome… when we choose to live it.
Let the journey begin now!
… let the journey begin!
delicate details are beautiful
“As the sun kisses the prairie good night, she reminds me:
Every seed, no matter how small, has a purpose. Every drop of rain matters to the blade of grass. So it is with our thoughts… no matter how small they may seem, they can grow into something so much more than you ever imagined…
And therein lies the secret she whispers… you must think of what is right, what is just, what is lovely, what is true, what is beautiful so that it may grow within you. You must treasure your thoughts as they are more precious than gold. Guard them, nurture them, feed them…. so they may become treasures to the world.”
My Prairie, my home.
Moon rising over the plains
“She whispers quietly, asking you to take the time to listen… to dig a little deeper, to listen a little more… What are those thoughts that pass so quickly, why do they come, and where do they go? They can’t all be forgotten, can they?… they are like treasures buried deep within the earth, waiting to be found.
Call them back again she whispers, and this time, listen… listen closer still. What is that longing in your heart that beckons? Is it possible… is it true…? Prove it she whispers, make it known to the world. It is only then that you will know.”
My Prairie, my home.
